What can I expect during preconception and prenatal visits?
If you’re ready to start your family, your Swor Women’s Care provider can perform a thorough examination of your reproductive system to ensure your body is in the optimal condition to support a healthy pregnancy. They can also offer nutrition and exercise guidance, as well as prenatal supplements, to get your body ready for a baby.
If you’re already pregnant, your provider creates a custom treatment plan to guide you through a healthy pregnancy. Prenatal visits ensure both you and your baby are healthy and developing on track.
Throughout your pregnancy, your prenatal appointments will include:

To ensure your baby is developing normally, your Swor Women’s Care provider schedules ultrasound tests, which also allow you to see your baby and determine its gender.
Prenatal appointments generally occur once a month until you reach 26 weeks. Visits increase to twice a month until week 36, when you schedule checkups weekly until you go into labor.
