My first encounter with Dr. Lichon wasn't positive. She was pregnant, she didn't address me, spoke to the assistant in the room and seemed annoyed she had to do an ultrasound on me. I chalked it up to her having a bad day and I would make sure to always see Samantha. This week, now a couple of years later, Samantha has left and I had to go in to check on my fibroids with another doctor. He was called into surgery and Dr. Lichon came in. She was pleasant enough. I had printed out all my scans, bloodwork and reasons for visit which she didn't read. She decided I needed a biopsy. I told her I'd had one before that was awful and I would require medication for pain. She dismissed that and I stated it again and she told me options would be on the portal. The office never called anything in after I had left a message about medication and told the scheduler to remind Dr. Lichon. I canceled my biopsy the day of the appointment because no medication had been called in. I ended up getting a little upset after the 2nd staff person called me and tried to guilt me into coming in unmedicated because normally they don't offer medication. Biopsies hurt and on no other part of the body or any part of a man would this be acceptable. Guilting women and not allowing them to make a choice about this is an awful practice. I have been going to SWOR for over a decade, but I immediately made an appointment with another gyno where compassion and medication is provided for these types of painful procedures.

Dr Lichon was prompt, friendly, thorough, and kind. I am always amazed at how well run this whole practice is. Nowadays, getting in to an appointment on time is unheard of. I was done with my exam and mammo in 45 minutes. Perfect.

Dr Kash is so personable, skilled and knowlegeable that she has changed my experience from dread to fine. I have recommended her to at least 10 friends and sisters, more than half of whom said they’ve already made appointments. Dr Kash is an absolutely delight! I am sooo grateful!

Always a positive experience at this office with the assistant nurses and of course Dr. Shedd. She answers all my questions in a relaxed and patient manner.
The staff is warm and friendly.

Since my husband looked for the best place to treat my endometriosis, he found the best place, Swor Women’s Care. Dr. Jennifer J Lichon, and her team are everything I needed, they are punctual with my appointments, they are attentive and prioritize my pain and they also listen to me patiently. From the moment they see me, I have felt at home. A couple of days ago the doctor performed a hysterectomy on me and it has been the best experience I have had in my health so far. My surgery was minimally invasive. The doctor and the entire team at the Hospital were super careful. If they asked me to rate Dr. Jennifer J lichon would give her all the stars possible, but there are only five and that is not enough to rate her work. Consult her and put your health in her hands without a doubt, you are in the best!!.
